Glen Arbor sits on the strip of land between Lake Michigan and Glen Lake, on M-22, next to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The village is small. The Dune Climb is a few minutes east. Empire and the park visitor center are about 8 miles south.

One home in this catalog is listed in Glen Arbor. Camp Haven, on Little Glen Lake, is the larger group stay. Those four homes are filed under Empire, but Big Glen Lake and Little Glen Lake are in Glen Arbor Township. Cherry Republic is at 6026 South Lake Street. Leelanau Coffee Roasting Company is on Western Avenue. The Mill is the cafe on the Crystal River. Check their hours in the off-season.
The Dune Climb
A 284-foot dune at 6748 S Dune Highway. Little Glen Lake is visible from the first dune. Lake Michigan is still about a mile and a half and several dunes farther, a hike the park says takes most people about three hours. Pets are not allowed on the climb.
Glen Haven
About 2.6 miles west. The cannery, Sleeping Bear Inn, general store, blacksmith shop, and maritime museum are staffed from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The beach by the cannery is a Lake Michigan access. No lifeguards.
Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive
About 10 miles south, toward Empire. A 7.4-mile one-way loop. Cars are generally allowed from late May until late October. An entrance pass is required. Trailers are not allowed.
Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail
The paved bike trail through the park. One section runs about 4.25 miles from the Dune Climb to Glen Arbor through Glen Haven. Crystal River Outfitters, on M-22 in town, rents kayaks and bikes.
Cherry Republic
The Glen Arbor shop at 6026 South Lake Street. A reliable landmark when you are giving directions in town.
